POSITION:           Marketing  and  Social Media Intern

REPORTS TO:     Dir. of Marketing  & General Manager  

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION OVERVIEW

Marketing Intern will be responsible for managing the dealerships social media presence, and assisting the Dir. of Marketing with the planning, strategy, and the execution of other marketing/advertising related activities. 

 

Main learning objectives for students:

·         Measure effectiveness of planning and executing social media efforts by engagement, sales, & using data/reporting to analyze campaign effectiveness. 

·         Learn about the strategy and application of marketing/advertising budgets for both traditional and digital media. 

·         Though the lens of social media, gain an understanding of how a business shapes a marketing strategy, formulates a budget, and administers campaigns using multiple mediums.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/ JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Must have a good working knowledge with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Word. Must be proficient on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter. Must be highly creative and have an outside of the box mentality.

·         Able to be given directives / tasks and be able to work creatively and independently to execute.

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
